Yes I did. 131 days and now relapsed. I knew I would drink at the cabin. Now it's the night before the trip. May as well start a bit early. I forgot how absolutely tiring it is. It's 7:05pm and I could sleep. Sober can't sleep before midnight. No need with the "I don't have to feel this way again" or any other slogans we use for newcomers or relapsers. I know. You know I know. I knew I can't think about the rest of my life without a drink. I'm a bit sad it's not the fun I remembered. I'm now just tired, but not really tired, it's alcohol bringing me way down. WTF. No wisdom here. I'll lurk but probably not post until I get my **** together. I would expect at least a month, maybe longer. I don't jump back on the horse right away, so no need to post suggesting that.

I went back to drinking quite a few times after being sober awhile. I searched for that old euphoria, but none came. In the end, there was nothing in it for me anymore. Perhaps you'll have the same experience. Please come back and tell us how it's going. So many here care. Prayers going up for you dear Pam.
