Hey, remember what you said to me? It is an illness. Beating yourself up doesn't help you if you are sick. Glad u saw your psych. Give yourself a big hug and love yourself better. You are doing something that you have really, really wanted for a long time. Keep in touch and proud of you xxx

the you that was shaking and knowing it was 'wrong' is the you that you need to care for and love right now.
that Alcoholic 'you' that won out this time can't stand up against love and gratitude.
so give the sober YOU as much love as you've got and focus your GRATITUDE on how you feel when you're sober and free of this evil wretch addiction.
Right now begins the path of Love, Gratitude, Sobriety.
Let go of anger, let go of disappointment, let go of shame....
Give yourself a loving hug, start making a list of all the good stuff... magnify that... get to a meeting.... keep coming on here.
