New to this!
I've always been a huge binge drinks since I was about 15 years old. Then I got into the Xanax and k pins heavily. Smoked a lot of weed...within the last year I have drank to the point my eyes rolled back in my head and I was sick for days. Tried sobriety after a drunk driving incident (I wasn't caught) and only made it 19 days. Tonight at midnight I will be celebrating one month sober. My boyfriend of 8 months has been sober over a year and a half and he is a HUGE help, just looking for a little more support since most of my friends are always wanting to get hammered (we are in our early 20's)

Congrats on one month, happy to hear your Boyfreind is there to help you too. There is always someone here online at SR and there is a ton of support, hope you can stick around for a while.

Thank you both. My dad struggled with a cocaine problem my entire child hood and his side of the family are also heavy drinkers. Some of my friends are very supportive, I still go out with them when I am able and DD them. Some still say, I wish you were drunk...I just don't know how to take it all. They don't leave me out of things, but I feel as if they don't think I'm as fun.
