My name's Daniel I'm 23 and I'm a recovering drug addict

I have been suffering from ischemic priapism which caused me to have erections that lasted from 5-6 hours and were painful every night and I would always wake up during these episodes and made it hard to sleep. So I decided that I would go and see my local urologist and he gave me pain killers so when I did have painful erections the pain kills would numb the pain and it made me feel better so I took one pill for the pain and then two pills and then I started to lose control I remember taking 10 pills a day and it was non-stop for 2 months then I realised I had an addiction and I desperately need to stop and then I decided that I need help so I started going to a drug recovery group that helped me get through tough times and I was able to start over again and I'm thankful for that.

I'm glad you're in recovery from the pain pills. There's a few Aussies around.

Thanks for the reply I've felt a bit better now but the painful night erections are still there, but I have regain control of my life again and I've slowly started to get back on pain killers
