Hi Everyone
I am new to this forum or any forum. Why I joined is in hope I can understand my alcoholic husband. I find I am naive and don't realise that some of the hurt things that happen, are due to his disease, but I take it personally and it is hurtfully. I have read some of your forum questions and answers, which is a great help and also an eye opener.

welcome brilliant. yes, there is lots of anecdotal evidence on these pages that should help you to understand your situation a little better. nothing you make you feel any less hurt from your experience. but at least you will get an idea that you are surely not alone in your predicament.
