I'm an alcoholic and pothead - never did morphine - but yeah - the more I stayed clean and sober the more I changed.
I've built a life based on me being clean and sober.
I'd recoil from the chance to get high or drunk now. It's no longer what I want.
It wasn't an overnight change tho - it was gradual and took some time.
I've been in recovery for several years now.
There's tons of support and good ideas here to help you through the tough times tho.

Good Day swjck. I was addicted to oxy/roxy/coke/pills/meth/xtc. you name it I wanted it. Never alcohol. Ive been SOBER AND CLEAN FROM EVERYTHING 21 days. Im not on any medication either. Every new day I feel stronger. I have my bad days bad hour minute but with support Im taking things ONE DAY AT A TIME
