SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Hi all my lovely people.. It's day 6 here for me.. Not feeling as anxious this morning but am waking up really early.. Go down stairs drink a daily drink of lemon water plus all the vitamins, milk thistle and absorbic acid. It's weird my witching hour for anxiety tends to be around noon and first thing in morning and last thing at night.. Yesterday I went to the shop to get some anti bacterial hand wash as having this cast on my arm makes my hand itchy and smellie.. Grose I know. Anyway all the soap products were plonked right next to rows and rows of alcohol and I couldn't find what I was looking for so stood there ages.. I kept looking at my old best friend Pinot Grigio and wondering.. Then I remembered your not my friend you made me do horrible things and say nasty things and now you have made me feel like this. I turned my back walked away and walked out the shop.. Major achievement. I won't forget how it's made my mind numb over the years, how I lost people I love, the money I spent and the damage that it's done.. I saw the doctor I'm still on the sleepers he said you can't do everything at once.. But no alcohol.. I said don't you worry that place has gone... To all you great people on here, your fantastic, your comforting and most of all an inspiration.... Thank you xxx
