Hunger

I think the part of my brain and body that is supposed to recognize hunger is "broken". It's weird ... unless my stomach actually starts growling loudly, I don't recognize when I'm hungry. That sounds crazy ... even to me! I just stop and think sometimes "I haven't eaten in 6 hours ... or at all today (which I just did)" and I eat ... not because I "feel" hungry, but because I know I have to eat. And I always feel SO much better after I do eat. I hope that mechanism comes back one day. I need to stick to an eating schedule in the meantime I guess.

seems that would be very important for you
would not want this not eating properly
to develop into something serious

please -- make it a habit to eat and eat good and healthy foods often

hi Holly -- just a reminder -- get yourself some good food -- and take time to enjoy it -- nourishment for our bodies and minds -- Mountainman

Thanks Bob ... I actually did go out and buy GOOD, healthy food so when I eat, I eat well. It's the remembering to eat thing I have a problem with. I think I should program it into my phone or something

Love the goats in your profile pic, by the way. I miss my goats

I have this same problem. I often go all day without eating only to realize at dinnertime I forgot to eat today.

Interesting. I have the opposite problem. I have to slow down and eat mindfully because I can inhale plate after plate and not realize I'm full until I'm uncomfortable.

Have a protein bar in you purse or desk all the time, and make time to eat it on either morning or afternoon time.... Alcohol kept me from eating, yet I still gained weight....

I often forget to eat also. I have to force myself to stop and eat something or I'll get light headed.
