Well it was last weekend i finished my latest crazy binge, bruises all healed up, seem to be sleeping a lot and anxiety is all but gone.I decided to get my fishing gear out and go to my local resevoir for the day. I love the peace of sitting on the edge of the water watching the wildlife. Its a stunning day. I was just thinking how good it is to wake up and not feel like a drink to take the fear away. Hopefully i will catch a few fish as well.

It was toughest on thursday when my money went in the bank, my brain was screaming at me to go and get some drugs and drink but my gut was telling me not to. I think thats when the problem started after my year clean and sobre. I cant trust my head as its always telling me to do the wrong thing. I used my gut instinct as my higher power when i was doing well. Time to start feeling with my heart not my head.

I'm glad you're feeling better. Just remember that last binge, and realize you never have to feel that way again.

Beautiful day here yesterday, too. Went fishing and caught five Catfish. What a joy instead of laying in bed hungover and all that goes with it.
