sweet sleep at 30 days

Today is 30 days. For the last 2 weeks I've been able to sleep at night and it's wonderful. No more tossing and turning (hot cold hot cold itchy sweaty full of anxiety worry and dread and fear). 7 hours of peace and dreams is far better than 30 minutes of fake euphoria followed by 12 hours of misery and madness.

I'm experiencing the same thing, sleep has been wonderful lately! I'm at about 25 days. I feel so rested in the morning and good energy throughout the day. I used to take sleeping pills after a weekend of heavy drinking and sleep was miserable throughout the week. I do not miss that at all!

You're lucky, im nearly 4 months out from day 0 and still get lousy sleep........... my sleep is very hit and miss. Most nights i only get a measly 5-6 hours, and that is after much tossing and turning.

Be grateful

grubby are you getting regular exercise? I find being a little bit worn out helps to knock me out. There are a lot of things that can interfere with regular sleep, alcohol is just one of them. Congrats on 4 months

Congratulations on 30 days! That's a huge milestone!

I'm at two weeks today, and I'm hoping my sleep will start to improve!

Im day 12 sober

Sleep is slowly getting better...was constant anxiety and short of breath all day everyday...even made appointment with lung specialist thinking my asthma was out of control, cone to find out asthma can be worsened with large amounts of alcohol which i was definitely using.

Anyway after being sober for this time my breathing AND sleep are improving: ) hanging in there is worth it! Glad you are sleeping so good guys!
