Night Four

Hi everyone, just thought I'd stop by. So as I mentioned in my last post I had a slip. I haven't been on because I've had half my family over. (That's a lot of people)

anyway, having family over is enough in and of itself to crave isn't it? (My family are alcoholics, so that made it harder.) None of us drank while they were up here, which I'm fairly certain is a record for them.

I didn't go on a long terrible binge thank goodness, but one day in the past was a guarantee I'd be drunk for a week.

Yes I am. I can't be around it no matter what for a long time. I've been seeing my therapist and we are making a lot of progress. The only thing I hate is that when we start talking about issues, it's a trigger. Nothing I can't handle, I just have to schedule appointments before 5:00 PM.

I think you'll find talking about issues will become easier and less of a trigger with time Justin.

I hope so anyway

Hey Justin...you can do this. Talk about the importance of being sober with your therapist and come up with realistic plan to stay that way. Every day.

Nice job seeking support. That is setting yourself up for where you need to be.

Hello Justin! You are really working at digging out the root cause and I think that is wonderful and admirable.

YOU rock!
