Need some TLC

Hi Longbeach. 
My Dad had vascular dementia. I helped to manage his care and then, was the one to place him in assisted living and eventually a nursing home. It is a very sad time. I was very depressed and isolated a lot during that time. Also had to help his sister through a lot at that time.
Even among my regular community and friends, it can be isolating being busy as a caregiver.
Singing sounds wonderful! I know here, there is a local chorale that is pretty open, as in, they find a place for everyone. I know you may be used to more serious singing, but perhaps there is a more basic community group that you can join? I hope you find some connections in your new home.
