Day 2
 

And this time I simply must make this work.

My doctor ran blood tests on me and my liver enzymes are triple what they should be.

Although he said its not elevated to the point of cirrhosis or requiring a biopsy, he told me that can change very quickly if I continued drinking.

Scared the daylights out of me actually.

So, I guess I'm back here again, sober, and quite frankly, I'm happy to be here.

Thanks, I have an appointment to visit an addiction counselor on Thursday, and I'm sure that will help me immensely . It sure has in the past.

Apparently she can go over some options and treatment available also.

Doctor said as long as I don't drink the liver enzymes should return to a near normal level within months.

Hooped, you can get it back together and never go through this again. Thankfully you can get your health back and feel better than ever. Congrats on your Day 2. We're all with you.
