Someone I love and care about very much is going to prison today because of alcohol. I am just as guilty, but never got caught. If I don't stay sober this time, I'll end up there too.

i did end up there more than once through my drinking

i have never committed a single offense in my life that would warrant a court appearance let alone prison
yet i have 24 convictions from assault to drunk and disorderly, drink driving,

if i had been sober all my life i wouldn't have a single conviction as i dont break the law
i am only 5ft 2ins and i wouldn't want to fight people, but with booze inside of me i would fight mike tyson

thanks to aa there is one less person causing trouble in this world today

thats how come i got involved in doing prison meetings and i can tell you there have been a lot of people coming out of prison and into an aa room instead of coming out of prison and going to the fist drinking hole they can find and repeat the process

i hope they run aa or na meetings in the prison your friend has gone to
it might just help
