6 weeks today! In dome ways it has gone by quickly and in other ways it has dragged by. All Iknow is that it feels good to wake up fresh and be able to handle whatever the day has in store. I still think about drinking a few times a week, but I always remember the consequences and the nightmare that was my last drunk. I have to be very vigilant as my longest sober period was 7 weeks, but this time I have AA and a lot of support. I hope everyone has a safe and sober Sunday.

Truly well done on 6 weeks, the earliest are the toughest from my experience, but having the support you have is an excellent choice.

Jill23, 6 weeks is FANTASTIC, congratulations. Playing the tape all the way through and remembering the consequences of drinking is very good, and now you have a goal to achieve, getting past 7 weeks. Rootin for ya.
