Lazy Saturday morning

It's almost 10am here and me and my dog are still in bed. Nice to wake up without a hangover.

I had planned on going for a hike this morning but I am really enjoying just being lazy. I think my mind and body are telling me today is a day of rest. If I start to get restless, I will deal with it. No booze!

I find it so hard to lie around and do nothing. I also feel that I really need a day of rest, to do nothing. Thanks for reminding me about that. I am tired. It's ok to stay home and rest. Thank goodness I don't have to stay in bed due to a hangover.

It's almost 4:30 and I am still in bed! LOL

I have gotten up a couple of times to let the dog out and get food. I've been watching season 2 of Longmire on my iPhone. Great show. I've decided that I am going to stay here for the rest of the day. I'm really enjoying it!

Glad to hear about your nice, peaceful day Timmah. I was exhausted for the first few months after I quit. We've put our bodies through so much. I'm happy to hear you're being kind to yourself.

Nice job on doing nothing Timmah! Those kind of days are great, just few and far between.

I did the same thing today timmah....watched movies all day. I was just exhausted and decided to enjoy the fact that it was Saturday and there was nothing I had to do. Felt so good to be able to rest - feeling good, not hungover. Tomorrow I'll be up early to go on a hike. Life is good.

I'm currently losing weight and I have days like that a lot, my body just feels exhausted and that tells me that I need some time to recover! I don't like it because I feel like I should be exercising but I know how I need time to relax and recuperate

Have fun

Exercising and rest go hand in hand. I just listen to my body and mind. By no means do I have it all sorted out, but I'm trying.
