Well, I have not had the best day. I drank, like I said on other threads. Annoying as I was doing so well with my running and so on.
I'll get back to it, though. My partner and I have had words as well, aargh! But still, I WILL get there.
I'm valuable, surely, surely I am, in some way?

since you asked for advice, here it is;
commit to sobriety.
Tell your new love interest that you can see your drinking patterns are disturbing to him and confess to him they're also disturbing to you. Tell him you figure you'll have a more joyful life without alcohol and you hope that he'll be supportive of that.
Consider jumping into AA as a mechanism for having direct, in-person connection with others who understand alcoholism and how to heal beyond it.
Embrace this awareness you have expressed to us with everything you've got and discover how amazing your life can actually be without this pattern getting worse and - in ten years - doing all of this anyway because you're forced into it by circumstances that are desperate and dire....
So, that's my advice.
