I have a plan
When I go to bed sober, I wake up sober and I don't crave. If I go to bed drunk, I usually have some of the poison left to eye-open. I've decided that tonight, I will go to bed sober, and I'll get up and the desire will be zero. I don't know if this will work, but I'm trying. For those who want to naysay and mock, like a few on my last thread, please, if you can't say anything nice, don't say it at all. I don't need the mockery stating that you wish me 'luck' in sarcasm.
I'm in trouble here and I'm trying and I don't need to be drug down father.

The plan that worked for me.
Staying sober for me was building a new life not trying to salvage the old
- Seening a doctor for a baseline health assessment
- Enrolling in intensive outpatient therapy
- Removing all alcohol from my house
- Not going to anywhere that alcohol was present
- Regular attendance at AA meetings
- Developing a network of sober friends
- Getting a sponsor
- Working the steps of AA
- Willingness to change anything in my life if it kept me from drinking
- Actively looking for things I enjoy doing sober
