Getting through till monday?
Getting through till monday?
Have detox date and already my disease is saying I've got another week ! And the otherside is saying start from now ! But does that mean I don't need detox cause I can get through a week? Do I deserve to be there? You can see how I'm all over the place hey . Even know I might get to Monday without a drink I will pick up for sure soon after. So correct me if I'm wrong I really need to get away to work through a lot with no distractions cause my house is insanely busy with 5 kids. Timing couldn't be worse my husband is going away for work .

I thought those thoughts may kick in for you, Liss. Sound pretty normal. One last hurrah, right?
I've never been to rehab, but just wanted to say I'm thinking of you, know you are struggling....and that beast has no interest in giving you happiness. Either before or after rehab.
I guess others will share their thoughts on this topic, but just wanted to send you support as I'm just about to head out and saw your post.
Big hugs.xx

Too many distractions dilute the experience. I have two younger and very busy kids and the time I spent in rehab was a blessing. I got to sit and think without interruptions.
If you are listening to the voice telling you that you have a week, or that the timing is bad, then you are doing the right thing. Even though the logistics seem to be bad, with your husband going away, those things always seem to come up..I have found that they have a way of just resolving themselves. It all sorted itself out when I just let go.
Hang in there!
