Looking for meetings in San Diego
 

Next Sunday I'll have one year sober! A week later I will be in San Diego for a conference. My last relapse on 7/11/2003 was while I was in San Francisco for a conference and I am worried about going this year. I keep getting that stinking thinking that I could relapse while in San Diego and nobody would know! :nono: So, I hope to find lots of meetings that I can attend while I am in San Diego.

Any help would be appreciated greatly!!

Welcome to SR.....Congratulations on one year of sobriety!!! Way to go!!!

Just remember if you use/relapse....it's not true no one will know..YOU will know. And for me that is worse than a thousand other people knowing and judging..because I have to live with my thoughts and the consequences of my actions.

I don't know about meetings in San Francisco but I bet someone will be along who can help you.

Thank you both! You will probably see me here in the evenings while I am in San Diego. It's amazing how much a little support can help!!!

I am in San Diego and have not yet started to attend meetings. No car or money, but my daughter might let me use her car or I might be able to borrow money for trolley or bus if they are still running. I live in Santee which is east of san diego. I know alot of meeting at the Lakeside Hotel in Lakeside just east of Santee. When will you be here? How about a private message? Today is my 6th day and my daughter can't believe it. She says that I am inspirational to her...(also an addict)..Pretty cool huh?
