I've never seen anyone post implying that less progress should towards sobriety be made whether it be slowly or quickly. Even the drink in moderation or controlled drinking threads tend to have the OP stating it might not be for everyone:-)
I need a helpful nudge with some things or my default of slow progress runs me and when I get to where I wanted to be I look back and think ok I could have done that different and saved myself a lot of pain.
Your post is probably relevant to family and/or friends in a lot if cases on SR which is sad but not that difficult to work through...either slowly or quickly;-)
