sick for days
 

Just called my sponsor. He made me feel better. Swore the booze I finished today was my last. Hoping to have a job tomorrow. Didn't go in because I looked too strange in the eyes. Lied. Food poisoning. Too scared to show. Need the money. Going to a meeting tomorrow even if I have to white knuckle it. This is gonna hurt. Wish me well. Tired of barely getting by.

Hi genesuu, all the best, try to drink plenty of water or fruit juice to help with the dehydration.

You feel it may hurt but not half as bad as hangovers, blackouts etc.

Keep posting and reading on sr especially if you feel the craving to pick up a drink, there's always someone here from different parts of the world so our times are all different. Someone will help you before you take that first sip.
