Can't stay sober without SR!

Hello,

I've discovered that I can't stay sober without logging onto this site, so it looks like you're all stuck with me. I can easily notch together 20/30 days and then as soon as I think that I'm okay and let my guard slip then I'm back drinking again.

So it looks as though I'm here for good. You're all amazing and I love reading about your success stories,

Thank you.

Bruno.

Sr is a useful tool
I'd suggest having other resources as well.

I think that has got to be the most 'in yer face' reason to get real life resources as well as SR assuming at some point long term sobriety will be the goal?

Thanks a lot for the support guys,

I've said on different occasions that AA isn't an option for me at the moment due to my job, I know that may seem hard to believe but its true. If things really did get bad though and my life depended on it then I would go.

Thanks again,

Bruno.

SR has been a big help to me too. I check in several times a day and always get something good out of it.

Yeahhhh, we're pretty cool here (right hand slicks back hair).

I'm totally committed to staying sober and it's been just over two weeks now that I have accomplished this goal.

The wise folks on SR have helped immeasurably while I gather more resources to stay sober. Life is busy but I pop in here regularly - has helped keep me relatively sane.

Welcome here Bruno!

I feel the same, except for I haven't been away.... I'd rather not test that out. I'll take your word for it and stick close to SR!

Doesn't your life depend on it now? I say that because when things get really bad for some folks, it's too late. Hope that isn't the case for you.

Not saying that AA is the only option. It isn't. But you've been around this track several times Bruno, still seeking long term sobriety. What are you going to do different this time? Is SR enough?
