You hit one year shortly after I joined SR and I clearly remember reading your one-year post! I thought, "This person has so many people supporting her and she must be so strong to have made it to one year. Also, she is a boxer, so I am a little afraid of her."

Your presence and posts on SR have helped me over the past 8 months, so I want to thank you. I will gladly keep you company today!

Happy birthday! You're not alone - I operate in much the same way you do. Many of us fight depression, and don't feel like we "fit in" anywhere...but you have to ask yourself, do you really want to? Sometimes it's cool to just take your own route in life for a while. Glad you can celebrate your birthday on your own terms, it's totally cool!
