Happy 90 Days To Me!

It's really hard to believe that I'm celebrating 90 days of sobriety today. The time has really gone by pretty quickly, and it feels like it was just last week that I walked into detox, terrified out of my mind.

I have many supportive friends and family members to thank, as well as the amazing AA community that has been indescribably helpful in my early sobriety. This site has also been an inspiration. Even though I don't post here as often as I'd like, you should all know that your posts, reflections and (at times) brutal honesty are very much appreciated!

To those of you beginning this amazing journey, hang in there. It gets a little bit easier as time goes by.

Here's to a healthy and sober future for all of us.

You are doing all of the right things.

I'm in my infancy yet,
but determined as hell.

One problem, since I stopped,
I have been eating like a pig.
I only have two pair of pants
that fit me. Well maybe I'm
making up for the many, many
days that I was totally on a
liquid diet.

Thanks for sharing your triumph, there are many ups and downs in sobriety but the first 90 days can be a challenge.
