Again

How many times. I'm so sick of going to my 'first' meeting. I can see it in some members eyes even they are sick of me

Keep at it. Pick yourself up and start again. Have you worked the Steps? How long have you been attending meetings? Have you considered additional approaches to use along with AA? Perhaps you may want to drop AA altogether and try another program?

I wondered the same thing. How long was I going to continue slowly killing myself... I finally got the courage to finally put the bottle down for good. My life has never been better.

What else is there? Really mixed up about sexuality and I'm pretty sure I'm an atheist. Tried the steps but step 3 and 4 I can't do

I doubt anyone's sick of you Eunectes.
Have you spoken to anyone about your problems with 3 and 4?

Regarding the Atheism, there have been many Atheists who have been able to work the Steps. I suggest doing a search on this site for more information as to how they've reconciled their beliefs with AA.

As for other programs, in the US there is:

SMART Recovery
LifeRing
SOS

SMART appears to have meetings in Glasgow. I didn't check LifeRing or SoS. Just Google the terms to find their websites and more information. If you need a program, I'm sure there is something you can find in Glasgow that should help you.

You know, I have trouble with steps three and four too. More three than four. I still go to meetings anyway because other people there understand me when I talk about my troubles and they give me hope that I don't have to drink.

As for the sexuality comment I am not quite sure what you mean but by me there are meetings for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons coping with alcoholism. Maybe check into local resources to see if they are available by you if that is what you meant.
