Confidential

Is this site relatively confidential? I worry about everything. Hoping that changes being sober. I feel encouraged here and don't want to turn my back on something that is working

BHappy, I am not a computer whiz but I think this site is very confidential. If I wanted to figure out your real name or where you live I wouldn't know where to start.

Hope you are well! Have a great day.

Thanks! Hope this paranoia passes...8 day now. So encouraged:)

Eight days is fabulous! You are almost out of fingers to count your days! ;) Keep it up!

Welcome to SR BHappy! You will find all sorts of support here. 8 days, and you made it through the weekend.... Wonderful.

I'm working on week #6, and yes it does get better everyday. The only thing you must do today, is not take the first drink :c011: This site has helped me tremendously. Hope you stay connected - and have a nice alcohol-free Monday.

Week 6, that's awesome. I will get there! This site is great:)

Confidential indeed!

Been here for a few years and SR is a god sent.

Can't remember actually entering my real name when I signed up, just a username and email address, so on that basis all should be fine!! :)

With years in recovery I've learned
a lot and continue to do so. One thing
is, staying sober with a recovery
program to guide me has become
successful for me.

When sharing my ESH - experiences,
strengths and hopes of what my life
was and is like, before, during and
after alcohol, there's no need to air
out my dirty laundry, so to speak,
in public.

As long as I keep to my recovery
and stay within the boundaries
of it, i don't need to spill out all
those personal tid bits of my personal
life.

That way, i protect myself, my life
and recovery.

Just Keeping It Simple. :)

Good advice aasharon:)

I'm an Administrator here and I assure you that the site is as confidential as you make it.

It's available to the public to read, but if you do not tell people about SR or give them the user name you choose, no one will ever find you here.
