Stronger
Every time my husband left for a job out of state I would drink to the point of not remembering when I went to bed, how I put my children to bed, who I talked to or text, etc.... I used to love it because I had NO boundaries of the amount I would consume!
Tonight is the first time he has left for a couple of nights and here I am sitting folding laundry, drinking tea, and sober!
I thought about getting a bottle of my fav wine but...... I didn't! 30 days sober and I do believe I am rocking it!
My daughter(14 years old) said to me today that she loves that I am not drunk nor drinking anymore! Hit me like a ton of bricks but it was the truth and it stung! Here's to more time with my children and here's to me remembering it!
