Please help
If withdraw symptoms continues Hawk,
get to an ER as soon as possible.
I had the most horrible withdraw episode
in my life, that is why I am determined
to remain sober.
They will give you medication that will
work, it will calm you down.

Hey bub, how are you feeling? I know it has been said before, but if you don't feel safe or healthy, go to the emergency room immediately. As I am sure you know by now, the body can go from feeling odd and unpleasant to unbearable and life threatening in an instant. Stay safe. Coming out of detox healthy is the goal. Let us know how you're doing.

Hi,
I hope by now you have been able to get to a medical facility. If not, I agree with everyone here who said you need to get help. If you aren't against AA, then call their hot line in your area. Someone can help you. These first few days are the hardest for getting sober and you don't have to be alone. I also used to drink as much as you do and I am glad you know not to drive!
Just make the call and let God take care of you.
You can do this.

You can do this. Your family has simply joined together during a family illness. Let them care for you. Repay them by embracing the gift of sobriety. You are lucky to have such wonderful people in your life. Eat, drink tons of water, sleep and TALK. I found talking helped me get all the toxins out of my body. Also, an AA book called "Living Sober" was a life saver for me. It helped me through those first few days because it answers all the
"what if" questions I had about actually attaining sobriety and it helped teach me how to ride out the "crave waves". Keep talking.

As for putting your family through this, they are your family, I'm sure they understand. And getting sober will be the best way to pay them back.
Hang in there, better days are ahead, so try to focus on a nice, sober future.
Hang on in there Hawk. I know exactly how you feel. Sounds like you have a supportive family which is great. They are there to help you can pay them back by staying dry!
Take it easy, you can do this
