A big hello 
Hello to everyone at SR I've been sober for 11 weeks now and it's a pleasure to have stumbled upon this site and the amazing people on here. As you all know it can be really hard to stay sober sometimes so something like this is a fantastic place to come when you are struggling. Whatever stage of your recovery I wish you all the very best in everything you do.

Thank you all for your warm welcome and words of encouragement. I was having a bit of a rough time this evening struggling with my cravings and had a few moments when I thought I was going to cave in. You know looking for any little excuse to have a drink instead of every reason I have not to, and those reasons are many. So thank you for taking the time to put fingers to keyboard and allowing me to focus my mind away from the devil on my shoulder.
LeTheVerte I love that image as well, it's so evocative and to my mind it symbolises a form of rebirth. It was something I stumbled upon whist messing around on the net but I have yet to find out who the original artist is. Or to be totally honest I was probably drunk and didn't make note of it *sigh

A 'rebirth' is an excellent synopsis!
Alexander McQueen (the talent!! and tragic, yes...) was my first impression...not as a photographer but as an artist. Has a similar effect. I'm going to have to do a bit of searching...so beautiful.
I'm new here as well. 11Days. Was feeling absolutely lousy this evening and entered the chat. It is amazing how a few great people can totally elevate and reinforce what we already know but need to be reminded of periodically (or daily)
We are all in great company here together.
