Hi all..im new to recovery just over 3 months clean and sober. Things aren't very easy for me at the moment im going through a relationship break up and life is just so different but im getting through it one day at a time

Thanks was 15 years in addiction,half my life! Don't know who I am anymore it gets scary, feel so lonely all the time and find it hard to connect with people

Post here as often as you'd like: lots of people are in the same boat. And this site is very warm and friendly. You'll fit right in.

It helps to talk about things with people who really understand. I'm sorry you're going through a challenging time. As you already know, masking our feelings with alcohol isn't an answer. (I wish I hadn't been such a slow learner.) Sounds like you're determined. Well done on your 3 sober months.

Thanks everyone.I know alcohol and drugs aren't the answer, they would only make everything worse! I like that tomorrow is a new day quote :)
