Wow, scared to death... but I have to start someplace and bottom is where its at so here I am. I've pretty much been drinking daily for 5 years now, sometimes half a pint sometimes 3/4's and sometimes a whole pint over several hours. Can't keep doing so, so after a pretty crappy fewdays of feeling plain awful and ignoring my body, I poured out what I staree to drink and signed up here... been through this once before - 18 months sober and then a huge lif event drew me back in. So here I am broken...

Thank you everyone... I am hoping the withdrawal will b tolerable, honestly cant be worse than the last couple of days... God brought me to this point, its in his hands. Hopin for clearer head in a few days, thank u for the support right out of the gate. Been very isolated lately so this is good.

I drank daily for many years. I can't believe I ever let that happen. I was in deep trouble when I found SR. Just knowing I wasn't alone anymore meant everything. I was so afraid to let go of it, but now I can't imagine going back to that painful old life. I'm so glad you found us and decided to get your life back.
