1 month free from drugs and alcohol. I'm so grateful that I have another chance at recovery but I have to remember, no matter how many times I've used and gotten clean in the past, my next relapse can kill me. This disease wants me dead but instead of listening to the monster and barganing with it, I talk to my sponsor and my higher power. I'm also on the waiting list for 3 different halfway houses so I am excited to start this new chapter in my life. Thank you everyone for not giving up on me.

Some days really suck and things aren't all better, but I'm learning to get better with things.

Congrats from upper Michigan. We are all in this together. Today is day 34 for me. Think positive. It's only a drink. The event will go on sober. And you get to remember.
