Has anyone tried coconut sparkling water.

Well said Thepatman. Reading about everyone's plans is a bit like being part of a great short story in action.

My local market carries La Croix sparkling water in the cans and every time I see it I cringe as I imagine it tastes like carbonated Hawaiian Tropicana SPF4 sun oil.

Has anyone tried this coconut sparkling water? It is only sold in a 12-pack and I am to stingy to shell out the moo-lag.

Enjoy your weekends!

How bizarre. I just just finished my la croix coconut flavored carbonated water that I brought to my AA meeting. I like it. It isn't over the top coconut. A mere hint. A whisper. It isn't like swilling Hawaiian tropic. It is actually on my shopping list for tomorrow because I am almost out.

just got back from the NA meeting. I was getting annoyed and restless because it felt like people were talking forever but whatever lol. I also got my 30 day tag.

I didn't go to the clubhouse because I couldn't find anyone at the meeting to go with so now I'm at my dad's house drinking orange juice and eating swedish fish...

I've also discovered that drinking orange juice after eating swedish fish is a disgusting combination haha.

Mmm. Swedish fish. Orange juice and swedish fish. I can't drink orange juice anymore because it gives me a sugar rush and I get anxiety.

My beginners meeting was good. The topic was change. What blocks our willingness to make changes. I said the first change that I had to make was in routines that led me to picking up that first drink.

Kids are tired and need to get to bed so I am going to put them there.

Jake as I was deading I was thinking that's got to be nasty. Then I read your next sentence. ..

Ruby, don't waste money on Hawaiian tropic. Buy the generic. All you're paying for is advertisement.

Half the kids are in bed. My daughter. Now comes the hard part. My son. I get so frustrated and then because I don't feel like fighting him into bed I just let up, give up and type on here instead of following through so he ultimately gets what he wants...to stay up late and I get tired and angry. Well. My meeting topic was change so here goes.

I am just playing games on my computer then will catch the newest episode of Grimm. Had a great meeting at my home group
Outside, the neighborhood kids are enjoying the nice weather and playing ball.
I also have another gig cleaning Monday (right after my overnight shift).
I am so grateful to be sober on a Friday night.

Friday is done. Going to bed soon. I'm going to read my book until I fall asleep. COPS is on the tv. I like watching COPS, what is up with that?! I hope everyone has a nice rest of the evening/morning.

Saturday lunchtime - I've been to the gym and watched my daughter play sport. She now has a friend over - I'd cooked some soup and we sat done and ate together. Day 3 is going well.

So saturday morning …
if you got a hangover, remember the more practised you become the more normal it becomes to be sober . Get some more support , try something new . learn some new ways of dealing with the world sober

It's not impossible , it takes persistence and tenacity , lots of us can attest to that

Off to look over the house i'm thinking of buying ..

have a sober saturday ,

I'm in , m

It was a rainy day here yesterday and so a day of movie watching and sleep. Up early today! Gym in a few hours and then .... I am not sure? We shall see.

Hope you all are doing ok!

Wow you're up early Ken! Don't feel bad, lousy weather here in London Town too. I'm watching the hockey games I taped last night and then heading to the gym later this morning.

Having my morning coffee and then heading out to the workshop. My dog looks better this morning. She got up and followed me into the kitchen and ate several doggy biscuits.

So true. It was a lot of subtle little things at first. For one, I used to always stop at a liquor store on the way home from work. It was a left turn, and I noticed for a while after quitting that I was habitually getting into the left lane so I could make that left turn. No other reason for it because ultimately it's a right turn off that road for me to get home. I had to grip that steering wheel and grit my teeth to stop myself from making that left turn for a few weeks. Driving by that store seemed an unnatural act. Now it doesn't even cross my mind on the drive home, and I stay in the right lane.

Sober living is habit forming, you just have to give it some time to catch hold in the brain.

Still plenty of seats left at the Sober Saturday Buffet. Get in on the action!

Well...just over 6 months sober and had my first ever drinking/relapse dream.

What an amazing relief to wake up to realise it was only a dream. My girlfriend thinks it's weird but I actually enjoy bad dreams because I love the feeling of relief on wakening. I wouldn't want to go through it ever night, but that instantly put me in a good mood.
