South Fla Dead Head in recovery
 

Hi , my name is Jay and I'm a member of AA. I get out of treatment on May 23 2014. I'm looking to connect with a good group of guys with long term solid sobriety in Broward County. Thanks for having me here. :-)

I love the Dead, too. Now I can go to concerts and actually find my seat and remember what happened.

Miami here and an old Dead Head. I actually did see one show sober back in the 80's, the others not so much. I was a Philly Dead Head back in the day.

The Boys always played well in Philly ...Im gonna be staying down here after treatment. Are there any groups/meetings like the Wharf Rats in South Fla ??

I know of a great AA group in Pompano Beach just north of you. They meet at 630am which may be a little early for you. Let me know if you are interested.

Sorry, I have never gone to a meeting for my sobriety. 100% SR for me so far.

There are Sober Buses that travel to festies now-a-days. I shall be spending memorial weekend in the woods with a couple dozen of my Deadhead friends. Been doing this "Peace Party" for 30 yrs. There will be activities I don't partake in and they all know why. But we are life long friends and respect bounderies. I am blessed.

Thank you all .. I have heard of sober Heads in South Fla just wanted to find them ... I paled around with the Wharf Rats when I lived up north and at shows .. there meetings at the set break ..

I went to the 630am group for a couple months when I was in Pompano on business. They have a ton of meetings here.
