PurpleKnight | 05-07-2014 03:53 PM | Until Friday!! I've been Sober for almost 6 months, but during this and last week I just haven’t been feeling the best, when I first quit drinking, the first few weeks to be expected were a struggle but things normalised over the following few months.
Recently I haven’t been feeling great, been feeling very light headed, almost very out of it during the day, along with stomach pains, I used to get these when I was drinking, but they have disappeared until now.
My first appt with my Dr before going Sober, I was advised I would be ok going cold turkey, my drinking hadn’t caused too much of a dependence, and so I didn't have any more than a week’s worth of uncomfortableness.
I have a Dr appt made for this Friday morning, but I just wanted to share, as I know many newcomers fear seeking the advice of their Dr, even though I am anxious about things, I want to encourage everyone, go make that appt, your Dr can give you the advice you need.
Until Friday then, let's see what happens!! |
