Until Friday!!

I've been Sober for almost 6 months, but during this and last week I just haven’t been feeling the best, when I first quit drinking, the first few weeks to be expected were a struggle but things normalised over the following few months.

Recently I haven’t been feeling great, been feeling very light headed, almost very out of it during the day, along with stomach pains, I used to get these when I was drinking, but they have disappeared until now.

My first appt with my Dr before going Sober, I was advised I would be ok going cold turkey, my drinking hadn’t caused too much of a dependence, and so I didn't have any more than a week’s worth of uncomfortableness.

I have a Dr appt made for this Friday morning, but I just wanted to share, as I know many newcomers fear seeking the advice of their Dr, even though I am anxious about things, I want to encourage everyone, go make that appt, your Dr can give you the advice you need.

Until Friday then, let's see what happens!!

To fill everyone in!!

My Dr ran a few tests and has referred me for some scans, I'm scheduled for next week, he reckons it's pancreatitis, the dizziness may be due to the pancreas not regulating blood sugar as effectively as it should be!!

My liver enzymes are normal, after 6 months Sobriety, the liver seems to have healed itself!!

I'll find out next week!! Thankyou all for your support!! :)
