I tried controlling my drinking too.....I tried really, really, hard because I did NOT want to stop drinking. Over time I realized I couldn't control my drinking. This site has been really supportive.

It's great to meet you Hunting. 
It became exhausting for me too. I was so afraid to let go of it, but I was causing myself so much anxiety & stress. It feels wonderful to be free.
