14 Days Sober

I returned late last night from a 3 day trip out of state for some product training. Friday night we met at 6:30 for cocktails and dinner meeting. I drank Peligrino sparkling water.

After a full day of training on Saturday, we had beer and barbecue. I drank Sprite. No one seemed to be concerned with what I was drinking. I had a great time. I got home last night and was in bed by midnight. I got up at 6:00 this morning and I am feeling great.

I have not lost any weight though. I thought I would have lost a little by now.

Yeah I think lots of people worry that when they stop drinking, everyone will notice or worse, hassle them about it. 90% of the time I think people just don't care if you're drinking a coke with rum in it, or without.

Congratulations vf1! I give you lots of credit, I couldn't be around alcohol my first few weeks.

Keep up the great work.

14 days is fantastic. I have 91 and I guard my environment to avoid temptation at every turn. Someday maybe I can handle a beer BBQ. But it's not this day.

Congrats VF! Great job!! I'm a little further along then you, but still very new to this whole sobriety thing. It's such a great feeling when you get into a bed after a night where you normally would have drank, but didn't!

Congratulations! Very good job. It amazing how people dont really care at all whether you drink or not. The only ones who do worry are the ones that need you to commiserate.
