Day Nine
So today is my ninth day sober. I'm finally all off the benzos, detoxed, and all is back to normal.
So for me, after I get back to "normal", I really start craving. So the next few weeks I'm sure will be tough, but I really want to get through it.
There are so many triggers with alcoholism. I finally think I have all scenarios covered that have made me relapse in the past, and I'm pretty happy about that.

Justin,
I remember the cravings of early sobriety. The worst that I experienced lasted no more than an hour. That hour was hellacious - but I found that if I did something physical to work off the anxious energy, I could get through them. They do subside in length and severity over time. Whatever you do, just don't drink... it only resets the whole process.
