Question: Is this cocaine or an opiate high of some sorts ?

Just got off the phone with my cousin who clearly is on something. I'm wondering if this is what cocaine is like...

First she gets really talkative, sniffing her nose, then gets maudlin and start to weep, sniff sniff sniff, then gets angry and starts swearing. More sniffing. Then animated again and super fast talking. Sniff.

What the heck ?

This all happened in the matter of a half an hour.

Anyone familiar with what substances causes this sort of behavior ?

Crushing and snorting Vicodin ? Coke ?

It could very well be coke. Tho you should consider this is allergy season, and maybe she is bi-polar.
I was only around a guy one coke once. We took him with us on a cross country trip- he was on top of the world when he was high- when he crashed he was a pain in the behind.

I've had some experience here, and yes, if a substance were being abused here, cocaine is a likely guess. The nose drips forwards and or backwards causing sniffling and swallowing. It is a stimulant and an endorphine rush, and the withdrawal is just plain sadness.

She could also have a mental health issue. Any history of that?
