I got drunk again
I got drunk again and feel bad. I dont have anything else to say really i just wanted to speak to someone on here as i dont really have anyone else in real life to talk to.
As long as you take something from this and learn from it, you will be a stronger person and better equipped to tackle it head on next time.
Be strong, keep posting.

It's very hard for most of us to recover in isolation. When you say the "real" world, you make an important point. Web support can be an important component of recovery, but it seems like it isn't working as a mainstay of recovery for you, and that's the case for lots of people I suspect - for me it was too. For lots of folks, the rubber doesn't meet the road until you're sitting across from a living, breathing person and talking about your addiction. Especially if you find yourself socially isolated, being around other people in recovery would be very valuable for you - we all crave that attention - it's normal and necessary to nurture you emotionally. Sobriety is worth all the work but it is hard - you need help! Is going to a recovery or support group something you would consider? If so PM me with a rough idea of where you are in the world and I can point you in the right direction for support in your area of the world.
All right, Bradley, I'll be the one to ask...what are you doing for your recovery? If you have no one to talk to, I'm assuming you have not sought out face-to-face support, which for many of us, is crucial for us kicking the drink for good.
And if you are going to beg off going to a recovery program, or AA, or IOP, at least make use of SR. Join the monthly newcomers support group, post daily, draw on the support here. Posting after you have drank and bemoaning the fact isn't furthering your recovery.

Thank you everyone for youre responses , i really appreciate it . I know its a bit sad but "talking" to u lot is really nice as i literally only speak to my mum on a daily basis. doggonecarl i have been mainly working out and reading books aswell as writing music lyrics. I have actually lost 10lbs in the last 7 days but fell of the wagon at football yesterday. I know alot of it will be water weight but still lol. I hope by this time next year i am in shape, sober and have a girlfriend.

Sorry you are struggling bradley.
If you want to stay sober, look out some other support, doing it alone dosen't work for many people,it may work for a short time, but not in the long term.
Sobriety is way more important than a girlfriend.
