Ho I see.
Well if you are like me moderation never worked. I can't just have one or a few.
So now I'm on day 6 after learning from a bad relapse.
What I learned? That me and Alcohol don't get along. I'm allergic to it.
That I must accept that I will never drink again. Easy? Nope.
But better than dying the way I see it
Hope you find your path to sobriety

Acceptance will not come easily, but it will as you spend time sober and start doing other things with your life.
And we are not just the 2 like this! wait until "the gang" jumps in your thread!!
When they do, read their experiences carefully, feel the support and love.
They are all our friends, and they saved my life

Aistar, you are far from alone. You had 3 months you said? How did you feel during that time? Pretty good, I bet! You are in the right place with SR. I am early days yet - only day 6. But with the folks here, the April group, and by remembering all of my own slip ups after I thought I can "just have one glass" and how I felt the next day.....it's helping me to accept, embrace, and be happy and healthy again. There is NO bad, hard, sad or awkward situation that drinking makes better for me. For us.
Hang around here! Read some threads, ask questions, and make a plan. For today only! Hugs!

This can be the last time you feel like this aistar. You can do it, I know you can. Feel free to come join us in the april class here: http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...rt-4-a-12.html
Have you tried AA? It gave me hope and a lot of good years sober.
I blacked out from the start of my drinking. You're poisoning your body when, you drink to excess.
From my personal experience the drinking gets worse and never better

Aistar I did the same thing - thought I could control it if I tried hard enough. I always failed. That's why I had to make the decision to stop all together. It feels so good to be free of it - you don't need it in your life.
Maybe you could see your doctor to help with stopping? Keep posting - you're among friends who care.

I can't moderate, Nor be anywhere near alcohol. I can't even smell a cork. I have zero self discipline. I can stop drinking, no problem. It is staying stopped that gets me every time. Stick around, aistar- you will find many people with whom you can relate to.

Hang in there, you can do this! I will do a prayer for you before bedtime.
Day 7 tomorrow for me! Not easy but I feel a lot happier to be honest.
Keep your chin up and PM me anytime if you need anything!
