Almost walked into the liquor store again, but instead I bolted to the grocery store next door and treated myself. Bought 2 marlin steaks and some seasonings instead. High quality fish, roasted in the oven is just as rewarding as drinking, but comes with a zero-shame guarantee

Friday night is my weakest time, so I just wanted to share. Hope you're all doing well too.

I like what Dee said, "great decision". A big part of my sobriety is making many good decisions.

Very proud of you for that Brendon. You'll wake up refreshed, not foggy or hazy.

And you'll feel even better about it in the morning

That feeling was very empowering for me in early recovery...I got addicted to THAT feeling

It is, saying no to that self-destructive inner voice feels like youre finally in control.
