Addicted to Klonopin and Alcohol
Early recovery is rough, no doubts about it. I'm not sure what a long time is for you, but I had to deal with ups and downs for 3 or 4 months.
I found myself doing the same things sober as I did drunk - i.e. not much.
I finally worked out I needed to change my life if I wanted to stay sober - I needed to be more active, more stimulated, more challenged.
My principle is simple: If you're bored, stop being bored. Do something.
I've gone from an all day everyday drinker to a non drinker of several years now. It is possible.
