Im sure dissapointment
Feel like I'll probably disappoint y'all, but I'll be honest I slipped ;( had a glass of wine but did contact my local AA support group and going Thursday and every Monday and Thursday there after, guess I need a program can't so it on my own even with hubby's 'support'
Christi,
It takes strength to speak out, like you just did here on SR. You need support, isn't that why you came here? YA! I'm biased because I began my sobriety with AA, the program works. All the best to you, the rooms are full of caring folks. If the first meetings aren't for you, no harm in looking around. That's what I did, till I found my "home group".

I applaud your honesty...that's so important when getting sober. Best of wishes with AA...I can only speak from personal experience and not universally, but it really does "work if you work it," as in genuinely follow the program. Keep us posted here on SR, we are all rooting for you!
