Not burning myself when I straigthen my hair...because I'm sober :)
Strange title, I know. But I really appreciate the small things that I can do now that I am sober. I can cook a proper meal. I can watch a TV show or movie and actually pay attention to what is happening. I can go out whenever I want without the fear of people seeing me in a drunken state. I can apply make up without looking like I just headbutted my eye shadow...I can crack lame little jokes. Lol. Most of all I can genuinely smile and be greatful for life. I hope others who are struggling will see the light too! Its glorious

Lol on the title I can tell u have an awesome sense of humor and you may need that on this journey lol, I too am new to this but these people on here are awesome sauce! I remember I would watch tv episodes in my kindle drunk and watch the same exact episode the next night and go 'cool a new episode!' Not so funny but true story haha
