Day 5 of no norco/hydrocodone
I am on day 5 of going cold turkey and quitting hydrocodone 10/325. I went from taking 4-6 a day to ZERO. I had been taking for over 4 years. I posted 24 hours sober when I was looking for support online. Because I knew I was going to have to do this with no help from my family and I could not tell anyone.
I am doing great. Day 2 and 3 was worst. But still it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Today I actually got up and went on a morning walk. My energy is coming back slowly but surely. I absolutely had no energy the past 4 days. And I feared that it may not come back. But everyday seems to get better. My thoughts are clearer and I am noticing things I never noticed before. I am calmer. I am less irritated. I am so proud of myself. My self esteem was not good. Due to the fact I felt I had no self control. But I proved to myself I do have self control and I am strong.
