Hi and welcome

That seems a very tedious way to taper down - assuming thats what you're doing.
Maybe you need a doctors help with this Johan?

I received a reply that someone thought this was a very tedious way to tapper. I haven't started yet. That is why I'm here. Maybe someone can tell me if this is going to be a long drawn out affair. Three weeks into every day use/

Hello Johan. you are posting some very specific information, and not much background, what would you like from the folks here? If you are asking for specific advice about withdrawing from narcotics, you need to work with doctor for that. Tell us a little more about what going on in your life, and where you're at. Post back and let us know how we can help.

OK I am not in the USA. Am in Costa Rica. Got into Oxynorm concentrate quite by accident. Have a friend who has Cancer, and in quite a lot of pain and has been proscribed Oxynorm.I hurt my back, not that serious but found that a little of the Oxynorm helped, now three weeks later, pain free but uncomfortable as hell with out the Oxy. Going to a doctor would be a last choice seeing my friend should never let me have his meds. My real question is how bad a habit can one have in such a small time?

I had to look up what oxynorm was so I have no personal experience to share.
I assumed you must have been tapering - my mistake.

I think a certain amount of discomfort is normal with any withdrawal.

If you won't see a Dr, that's your call but it pretty much leaves you with no other choice but to ride it out.
