I made it 6 days....

I made it 6 days, then started binging again. it was supposed to be a great month, and even after 6 days I noticed a difference, so much that when I was on the golf course, I thought something was wrong with myself....funny right?

I guess I can use 6 days as a land marker...I shared my blog with my girlfriend and I think that should help. Low times and feeling guilty. I drove home hammered last night, got tailed by a cop and was late to work...I can't be doing it anymore.

Maybe the time as come for you to make this a permanent thing?

Cops could have arrested you, DUI, or even kill someone.
Sometimes running with our luck before it runs out can be a good idea.

Good luck! Glad you posted

Been there. Only it was day four for me. Couldn't get past it. Hangover and anxiety gone, looked better and hey I can drink again.
I did this for many years. Thought it made me feel less like an alcoholic I guess.

Remember these low times and guilt next time you feeling like drinking. When I started with just that one, it was all bets off. If you're anything like I was, your luck will run out.

Best to you, and hang in there.

Hop back on the wagon; you can get past 6 days and so many more.

Please don't get behind the wheel when you have been driving, please.

Well you have proved that you don't have to drink every day which is something, bumps on the road happen to many people but try not to lose track of the goal in sight.
I wish you well.

Lumberjackjim welcome and your 6 to start was good just start again! And Driving Home Hammered is not a sport, I am sitting here after sitting in jail for 54 days with an ankle bracelet strapped to my leg for the next50 something days. Paid $11500 for lawyers that didn't/couldn't do much , and have a probation officer for the next 3 years. He can come in my house any time he wants, I have to get a travel permit to visit my 94 yo mother, my friend you don't need this! Stay Strong and Well ! Bobby
