Trying Again
Well I am gonna try again to quit drinking. I have had a few relapses since the last time I posted on here. Ive had a pretty bad binge week and just woke up this morning with the goal of wanting to quit. I called aa today and going to my first meeting tonight.
Not sure how most people started but I started in high school. In moderation at first, just a few beers here and there. Then in college I got into the frat life and started having dependency by age 19 but still was able to control it for the most part. by 20 it was uncontrollable and starting on midnight of my 21st birthday it became an everyday thing since I was able to buy alcohol.
Now I am almost 23 and have drank almost everyday since except for very small periods when I quit. Im just sick of all of this. the daily hangovers every morning then turning into cravings by lunchtime and then drunk everynight and ending my day puking my guts up before bed. I am ready for my body to be somewhat normal again, I now have horrid blood pressure and have gained 50 lbs since I was 21.

Glad your back Zack, hope you stay awhile! I only wish I knew then what I know now , my friend. If you hang here and truly want the misery that you have seen already, and don't desire any of that which you don't know of YET! Then hang in for the ride of YOUR life being sober!
